All the key information for the U's home friendly against Ipswich Town

26 July 2021

All the key information for supporters coming to the U's home friendly against Ipswich Town.

Match Permits
Match Permit sales will not be available from the stadium on the day of the game, all purchases must be made online at ColUTickets.com in advance of the game. It is an all ticket event, and all tickets must be purchased in advance of the match. Supporters will be able to purchase online until ten minutes into the game though, and will then be able to enter as usual. If unable to attend, a live stream of the game can be purchased at ColUTickets.com

Parking
Parking permits are available to supporters who have already purchased a match permit. If you require parking, the option to purchase a parking permit will be under your Match Permit on the dashboard on ColUTickets.com. Only those with a parking permit will be allowed access to the stadium car park - no permits can be purchased on the gate, and cars will be denied access.

Entry To Stadium
Turnstiles will be open as normal, with entry permitted from 6.30pm. Those supporters seated in E7 or E8 though will enter the stadium via the gates in the South/East corner. Remember that you will have to have filled in your COVID-19 declaration on ColUTickets.com to gain entry. You can print your permit, or show it on arrival at the stadium on your smartphone.

Protocols
Whilst it isn’t now mandatory to wear masks or exercise social distancing, please show consideration to your fellow supporters and keep each other safe. We recommend that masks are worn in crowded spaces and when in close proximity to others, and that you keep a safe distance from others if possible. Hand sanitisers will still be available around the stadium and we advise their use to minimise the spread of COVID-19.

Catering
None of the concourse kiosks will be open for refreshments, but we will have catering units situated behind the North Stand - all supporters will be able to access prior to the game. Both cash and card will be taken at the catering units. Feel free to support them as local businesses. Supporters are permitted to bring their own soft drinks into the stadium, but alcohol is banned and any supporters caught attempting to bring it into the stadium will be refused entry or ejected.

Programmes
Programmes will be available from the Club Shop – remember that the stadium is cashless. The club shop is open from 5.30pm.

Exits
The normal exit gates will be operational, but please follow any further guidance from stewards.
