Some information for Wednesday night

19 July 2021

Colchester United take on Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday evening - here's some information if you're planning to come along.

Purchasing for the game – Match Permit sales will not be available from the stadium on the day of the game, all purchases must be made online at ColUTickets.com. Supporters will be able to purchase online until ten minutes into the game though, and will then be able to enter as usual.

Parking – Parking permits are available to supporters who have already purchased a match permit. If you require parking, the option to purchase a parking permit will be under your Match Permit on the dashboard on ColUTickets.com

Entry to Stadium – Turnstiles will be open as normal, with entry permitted from 6.30pm. Those supporters seated in E7 or E8 though will enter the stadium via the gates in the South/East corner. Remember that you will have to have filled in your COVID-19 declaration on ColUTickets.com to gain entry. You can print your permit, or show it on arrival at the stadium.

Protocols – Whilst it isn’t now mandatory to wear masks or exercise social distancing, please show consideration to your fellow supporters and keep each other safe. We recommend that masks are worn in crowded spaces and when in close proximity to others, and that you keep a safe distance from others if possible. Hand sanitisers will still be available around the stadium and we advise their use to minimise the spread of COVID-19.

Catering – None of the concourse kiosks will be open for refreshments, but we will have catering units around the stadium. Feel free to support them as local businesses. Supporters are permitted to bring their own soft drinks into the stadium, but alcohol is banned and any supporters caught attempting to bring it into the stadium will be refused entry or ejected.

Programmes – Programmes will be available from the Club Shop – remember that the stadium is cashless.

Exits – The normal exit gates will be operational, but please follow any further guidance from stewards.

General – It has been too long since supporters were allowed into the JobServe Community Stadium, and we’re so pleased to have you back on Wednesday evening. We are not out of the woods in terms of the COVID-19 pandemic though, so be safe, keep each other safe and let’s all enjoy the game.

Don’t forget to fill in your COVID-19 declaration online to have your permit sent to you.
