Youngster Junior Tchamadeu has made it a hat-trick of players signing new contracts.
It was busy on Col U TV on Monday evening, as the young defender joined Tommy Smith, Brendan Wiredu and new loanee Cameron Coxe on the show.
Tchamadeu burst onto the first team scene at the U's in December last year, becoming the youngest player ever to start a league match for the club - and he more than played his part in the 2-1 home win against Grimsby Town.
That game came a couple of weeks before his seventeenth birthday, and he went on to make a further ten appearances in the remainder of the 2020/21 campaign.
Comfortable both at right back and further forward, Junior has signed a three year deal that keeps him in north Essex until the summer of 2024.
