Hayden Mullins' side will make the short trip across the Thames to Kent to take on Ebbsfleet United in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday 20th July.
The game will take place in the week between the confirmed Watford and Gillingham friendlies, as the U's gear up to the 2021/22 Sky Bet League Two season.
Ebbsfleet United ply their trade in the National League South, and had their 2020/21 season cut short due to the constraints of the pandemic.
The U's last met with the Kent side in 1995, when the team were known as Gravesend and Northfleet, as the non-league side eliminated Colchester United from the FA Cup.
