Colchester United will play Ipswich Town during the build-up to the 21/22 season.
The League One side will visit the JobServe Community Stadium on Tuesday 27th July, as the two teams count down to the league season commencing on August 7th.
Like last pre-season, there will be two ninety minute matches - the first will kick off at 5.30pm and the second at 7.45pm.
Should supporters be allowed to attend the games in person at the JCS, ticketing details will be announced in due course.
