Colchester United will join the nation at noon today, with a minute's silence to remember all those who have passed away or lost loved ones in the past year.
On March 23rd 2020, Prime Minister Boris Johnson addressed the nation and imposed the first lockdown of the pandemic.
In the twelve months that have passed since that day, over 125,000 people have lost their lives in the UK, leaving family and friends missing their loved ones.
Millions of others have contracted the virus, lost their jobs and have been separated from relatives for months on end.
Today marks a year since that first lockdown, and our thoughts at Colchester United are with everyone who has suffered loss or hardship during the past twelve months.
Join us and the nation at noon today for a minute's silence.
