After guiding Colchester United to safety with his seven games in charge, U's interim boss Hayden Mullins has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two manager of the month award.
Picking up two wins and two draws from the Apil fixtures, Hayden Mullins was able to almost guarantee the U's their Football League status, before confirming that on the weekend with the win against Salford City.
Mullins, who took over just before the U's trip to Bolton, was able to earn two draws in his first two games before winning back-to-back home games over Walsall and Southend United, to essentially relegate United's nearest rivals.
Coming from behind against Walsall to earn a valuable three points, a 2-0 win over Southend United included goals from his former Watford youngster Michael Folivi and captain Harry Pell put a gap of nine points to the Shrimpers with then three games to play.
Hayden has been nominated alongside managers of Salford City (Gary Bowyer), Port Vale (Darrell Clarke), and Cheltenham Town (Michael Duff).
The winner of the award will be revealed on Thursday 6th May.
