Colchester United forward is looking forward to getting back in action on Saturday afternoon, with the games coming thick and fast for Freddie Sears.
Hitting his fortieth goal for the club on Tuesday evening, Sears scored within the opening two minutes of the game against Sutton United at the JobServe Community Stadium.
The visitors would go on to turn the game around and claim all three points after the U's had been reduced to ten men in the opening thirty minutes, but with more games just around the corner, it's a chance to put some things right according to Freddie Sears.
"The good thing about football at the minute is the games are coming thick and fast, so Tuesday was disappointing, but Saturday gives us a chance to right a few wrongs.
"We're not far away from where we want to be, obviously the two results since the Bristol Rovers game haven't been brilliant. We had a good turn of form with the win and the draw, but we were well beaten at Port Vale and Sutton was a strange game.
"It will be another tough game on Saturday. For us in general, we don't want to be down the bottom of the table. Saturday will be another chance to move back up the table, we want to start getting results.
"Football on paper means nothing, it's a challenge. We are only fourteen games in, still early for a new squad and apart from the Port Vale game I don't think we have been well beaten.
"There's still a lot of football to be played, and these are the teams we want to be beating. They'll be confident of getting a result, so it should be a good game."
