Match Preview | Alan Judge

U's midfielder wants to get first home league win

1 October 2021

Colchester United midfielder Alan Judge is hoping the U's can get another home win after getting their first of the season on Tuesday evening.

Judge, who joined the U's from Ipswich Town in the summer, is positive that the U's are going to get their first home league win of the season on Saturday afternoon.

The midfielder bagged his first U's goal earlier in September with a strike against Barrow on the road, and is looking to get more for the season.

"I thoroughly enjoying myself, although I feel like I should have had one or two assists by now. It's just a matter of time, Frank is up there doing his best for us. He'e the focal point, working hard and giving us everything.

"We've been pretty good away from home. We just know that we need to improve a bit at home, and be a little better. We haven't played much at home though, but we know that the onus is on us to attack and hopefully this Saturday we will be doing that a bit more.

"Crawley just sat off us, but it's up to us to break them down. But you look at the other games, Northampton, Mansfield, there is chances being created. We just need to get on the end of it and put them away. It's down to us to break our necks to get in there and get something on the end of it."
