On-loan Fulham forward, Sylvester Jasper grabbed his first goal for Colchester United on Saturday afternoon, scoring the winner against Harrogate Town.
Jasper netted the eighty-eighth minute winner for the U's, and his first for the club since joining on loan from Fulham.
After hitting the bar earlier in the game, if might have felt like it wasn't going to be his day, but Jasper kept his cool to slot home with time running out.
And Sylvester has more goals in his sights for the U's, with the game against Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night fast approaching.
"It was a great feeling to get my first professional goal, my first goal for Colchester, I couldn't say anything more. Without Brendan, that goal wouldn't happen though, so everything goes to him on that one.
"I hit the bar earlier, but it shows that if you keep going and keep at it, then things will work out for you. The coaches have said that I needed to make sure that they couldn't leave me out, and by scoring, hopefully that is the case.
"We weren't affected by the fact we hadn't won at home yet, we were still doing what we had to do. We still have that focus to win every game, but it wasn't playing on our minds.
"We will carry it on to Tuesday. Everyone is happy and confident, and the win most importantly, hopefully we can get another win on Tuesday."
