Colchester United duo Sam Cornish and Ted Collins have been loaned out to Maldon and Tiptree.
Young U's duo of Cornish and Collins will head out to fellow Essex side Maldon and Tiptree on loan to gain first team experience.
Central midfielder Sam Cornish put pen-to-paper on a first professional contract at the start of the 2021/22 season and has made a number of appearances for the U23 side.
Cornish was included in the final matchday eighteen of the season on the road at Tranmere Rovers, and will spend one month on at Maldon and Tiptree to benefit from game time.
Ted Collins will head out on a work experience loan, with the young 'keeper appearing a number of times for the U23 squad this season and last.
The move will be beneficial to all parties, thats according to U's Director of Football, Tony Humes.
"Both Sam and Ted have been around the first team squad, but have struggled to break through. They will gain experience and confidence from playing more competitive football at Maldon and Tiptree and we look forward to welcoming them back later this season."
