21 April 2022

Junior Tchamadeu has been nominated and shortlisted for the League Two Apprentice of the Year.

He will find out on Sunday night if he is the winner, and you can watch the action as it happens.

He is in the running alongside Stevenage's Alex Aitken and Ethan Brierley from Rochdale.

This season’s highly anticipated EFL Awards will be available to watch live and for free on the Sky Sports app.

Hosted by Sky Sports presenters Bela Shah and David Prutton, the Awards will be streamed on the app from 7pm, live from the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

Celebrating the EFL season both on and off the pitch, the Awards are split into three sections, with the approximate timings as follows:

  • 7pm – Community Awards
  • 8:40pm – Club Awards
  • 10pm – Football Awards

Supporters will be able to watch the evening’s entertainment unfold as either Aleksandar Mitrović, Harry Wilson or Dominic Solanke will be named Sky Bet Championship Player of the Season.

A host of other wards will be handed out, including the season’s most spectacular strike being recognised in the award for Goal of the Season.

Three Football Manager Teams of the Season will be announced on the night, with a manager and starting XI chosen for each individual division.

The League’s two most prestigious awards, the Contribution to League Football and Sir Tom Finney Award, will also be presented on the evening.

In addition, Clubs will be commended for their work off the pitch, with the Your Move Community Club of the Season set to be announced alongside the Community Project of the Season and PFA Player in the Community.

New for 2022, the EFL will also be presenting Diversity and Sustainability Awards alongside the Kin + Carta Family Club of the Season and Supporter of the Season.

Tune in via the Sky Sports app on Sunday evening from 7pm. Download the Sky Sports app for free in the Google Play Store for Android devices or the App Store for Apple devices.
