Young duo Gene Kennedy and Brad Ihionvien have signed U's contracts.
Central midfielder Kennedy came through the Academy, and made his debut in the Carabao Cup First Round against Birmingham City in August.
He has regularly been in and amongst the first team squad since, making a total of nine appearances including league starts against Sutton and Mansfield.
Ihionvien is a young striker who has been banging in the goals for both the U18s and the U23s, and has been rewarded for those excellent performaces with his first professional contract.
Brad has been combining his football with his studies, as well as playing for both the U's and his College side.
Director of Football Tony Humes said of the signings: "We've got a couple of really good players in Gene and Brad."
"Supporters will be well aware of Gene's potential talent with him already playing games for the first team and Brad is giving himself every chance of joining him with his progress this season."
"They have both deserved their new contracts, and we hope to see them working hard to achieve their ultimate aim of playing regular first team football."
