Colchester United have secured the loan signing of West Ham United youngster Dan Chesters for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.
The twenty-year-old midfielder has joined Colchester United on a season-long loan after making his debut for the Hammers in the 2021/22 campaign.
Dan has had plenty of experience through the youth system in East London, playing in the Papa John's Trophy in each of the last three seasons, making his First Team debut in the last campaign.
It came against Genk in the Europa League for David Moyes' side at the London Stadium, with his Premier League debut coming in March at Anfield.
Chesters has taken the number 23 shirt for his time with the U's and is expected to be included in Wayne's squad for tomorrow's game against Tranmere Rovers.
