Colchester United duo Harvey Sayer and Brad Ihionvien have signed on loan for Maldon & Tiptree.
Following a pre-season with the U's U23s, the young duo switch to the Isthmian League North side for the first half of the season, subject to the usual ratification from the relevent bodies.
They are expected to be in the Maldon & Tiptree squad for their first league game of the new season, with Tilbury visiting Park Drive on Saturday afternoon.
U's Director of Football Tony Humes, said: "Brad and Harvey are two more of our talented youngsters that need more regular men's football to continue their development."
"Both will benefit from playing competitive football week in, week out, and we will of course keep an eye on their progress in the coming weeks and months whilst they're over there."
