As here at Colchester United Football in the Community we are looking for exceptional individuals who have gone above and beyond to help their family, friends or community. Last month’s community champion was inspirational fundraiser Nick Wookey, Nick has managed to raise over £52,000 for Farleigh Hospice in the memory of his late wife Susie, who passed away in February 2022.
The community champion will be invited to attend with a guest for Colchester United’s game vs Gillingham on Saturday 21st January 2023 at the JobServe Community Stadium. The community champion will be asked to lead the teams out onto the pitch, to give them a once in a lifetime experience.
