Colchester United centre back Tom Dallison has spoken about game time and training ahead of our Boxing Day fixture against Gillingham.
Dallison has spoken about working his way back from injury, the defender had a stint in the U21s side against Southampton and Dagenham and Redbridge while he was working back towards the first team.
He has also spoken about the amount of training that the cancelled game against Salford has allowed them to do.
“Sutton feels like a while ago now, so I think the boys are all looking forward to a game… it’s frustrating obviously when a game gets called off I think we all wanted to get another game under our belts straight after the narrow defeat to Sutton, we’ve had a good couple of weeks on the training pitch now so we’ve had a good couple of weeks of training, it’s been good in that sense.
“It’s very frustrating being injured so coming back from Mansfield and Sutton has been brilliant and you just want regular games. But no we’ve trained really hard for the last two weeks so I don’t think it’s going to be a case of getting the cobwebs off or anything like that I think we’re raring to go.”
