Colchester United midfielder Cole Skuse says the players will be up for the fight against Hartlepool United on Tuesday evening.
Cole Skuse played the full ninety minutes for the U's during the 3-0 defeat to Northampton Town on Saturday afternoon.
And Skuse has said there were positives to take from the game, with the players taking it into the game against Hartlepool United.
"Northampton are good at what they do, and they were on their own patch, but it was disappointing to have come away with a defeat.
"We will leave no stone unturned and that's testament to the new staff that have come in and the boys, and we will be trying to do and say the right things to get the points against Hartlepool.
"The staff have the right to change whatever they want. If they change the team, we can't be knocking on the door arguing that we've been dropped. We have to make sure we are in the best position to get the burden of our home form off our backs, and pick up a result."
