U's Interim Boss Wayne Brown wants to see his players step up and take responsibility as they head into the game against Oldham Athletic.

Wayne Brown's side will be hoping they can pick up points against an Oldham side that are directly below them in the table on Saturday afternoon.

And he says each of his players will need to play their part if they are going to claim victory against the Latics.

"I was really disappointed in the way we lost the game on Tuesday, conceding two goals in the space of four minutes, after yet again, getting ourselves into a good position in a match.

"It's frustrating, because if you look at the game as a whole, they didn't really open us up and I thought we looked quite solid, and it's out mistakes that gave them the chances to score two goals.

"But there were positives. We need to take those into the next game and the rest of the season.

"I couldn't care less about what goes on outside this environment, it doesn't concern me with other managerial changes and other teams going on runs. I'm just focused on how this team is getting prepared, how this team is confidence-wise, and if we're giving ourselves the best chance to win games.

"Yes we want to go on a run, but we can only start that with a win on Saturday."
