The U's will be at home on Saturday for their first game of 2022, when Barrow make the journey to North Essex.
The U's will be hoping they can secure their first points of the New Year against a Barrow side that sit just above them in the table, knowing that a win would mean they leapfrog the Blubirds in the standings.
Mullins' side put in a good performance against league leaders, Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday evening, and were a little unlucky not to have taken a point from the game - but the way the U's played will give them confidence going into Saturday's game.
And with the first home game of the season coming up this weekend, Mullins is excited for his side to finally get out and play in front of a home crowd - the first home league game since the 1-1 draw with Newport County at the end of November.
"We've had a lot of travelling the last few weeks, so it's nice to be at home. We are definitely looking forward to it, and we need to start a run of games where we get some positive results.
"We're just nearing the halfway point in the season, and in this division it's so tight. If you put a run together, you can really jump up. It's a good game for us, as the Rochdale game would've been last week for us.
"We will be going in to attack the game, and hopefully in front of our home fans we can get a positive result."
