Colchester United will host Charlton Athletic in the first of the home pre-season matches on Tuesday 12th July.
The League One outfit will be the first to visit North Essex in this season's pre-season schedule as the U's host Ben Garner's side.
It's another game for Wayne Brown's side to test themselves against higher opposition, and will give the U's a good run out in front of the home fans ahead of the new season.
Starting an exciting week at the JobServe Community Stadium, the U's will also host Millwall on Friday 15th July before the Open Day returns for the first time since 2019 on Sunday 17th as well as Southend United's visit on Tuesday 19th.
