U's Partner Up With Workhorse Generation

Charity Hub becomes new Charity Partner

28 July 2022

Colchester United are delighted to announce that Workhorse Generation will be one of the club’s Charity Partners for the next two years.

Following a season as away shirt sponsors, the Essex and Suffolk based removal and storage specialists extended their sponsorship of the club and have become Primary Shirt Sponsor, donating the sponsorship on the front and back of both Home and Away shirts for the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons to Charity Hub Workhorse Generation.

Workhorse Generation is now one of the U’s Official Charity Partners, with the club fully backing their quest to help today’s youngsters face what life throws at them as they prepare for working life.

Ben Conway, from the U’s Commercial Department, said: “It was a great gesture from Simon and the team at Workhorse Group to donate their front of shirt sponsorships, and we are pleased that we will now be working with Workhorse Generation to get their messages out to the young people that might need help as they transition from education into adult life and the working environment.”

“I’m sure that working with Phil, Lisa and the Workhorse Generation team will be a pleasure and we’re all looking forward to doing everything we can to assist them.”

Phil Mabon, trustee of Workhorse Generation, added: “We’re delighted to have been made an Official Charity Partner of Colchester United and we thank Ben and the team for their fantastic support.”

“Workhorse Generation is a Charity Hub that together has the ONE SHARED VISION of providing vital support and advice to help and assist young adults.

Our community will benefit from this superb platform through the work of the excellent charities we are able to support.”
