Colchester United have been placed in Southern Group A of this season's Papa Johns Trophy.
The group sees the U's come up against Charlton Athletic for the first time since 2016 in the competition, with Gillingham also in the same group as Colchester United for the third time in four seasons.
The final team to be added will be an invited side from an invited list, and will be drawn on Sky Sports News at 11:30am on Thursday.
