Colchester United are delighted to announce the arrival of Ross Embleton as the club's new Head of Recruitment.
Ross Embleton has joined Colchester United as the Head of Recruitment, with the former Leyton Orient boss getting to work straight away, helping Wayne Brown assemble his squad for the upcoming 2022/23 season.
The forty-one-year-old has vast experience in the game, including a thirteen month spell in charge of Leyton Orient, ending in February last year.
His other credentials include time at Tottenham, AFC Bournemouth and Swindon Town, and the new Head of Recruitment said he was excited to get started in his new position in North Essex.
"I am really passionate about the role, and the opportunity to work at this football club. In planning, I've done a lot of research and now have a lot of background knowledge, been to a number of games this season here, so I know what the place has to offer.
"It's a great stadium and fantastic training ground, so I'm really excited to get working here. I'll be making the most of the contacts I have, and try to get the most amount of communication and make this a successful window, that gives us a platform to have a good season."
