Colchester United's on-loan winger, Owura Edwards, has been in contention for the man of the match award for the last couple of games.
The pacey winger has put in a couple of exciting performances, including Saturday's that saw him pick up the Man of the Match award, as voted for by fans on Col U Tickets after the game.
And he has said that he would like to get his name on the scoresheet in the not too distant future, with another couple of home games coming up at the JobServe Community Stadium this week.
"It didn't come for me on Saturday, but I'll take the man of the match accolade. I'll keep working and keep trying to score and assist. As an attacker, you're always judged on goals and assists, so I'd like to get more of those in the coming games.
"I didn't think it was a fair result on Saturday, we totally dominated the game if you look at the stats, and particularly the second half. We created far more chances than them, but we couldn't quite get the breakthrough we deserved."
And speaking on his man of the match award, Edwards says there is more that Col U fans are yet to see from the winger.
"It's testament to my hard work. I want to be the best that I can be. Working on my fitness, sharpness and keeping the belief, I think the hard work is starting to pay off."
