Wayne Brown has encouraged his players to take the positives from their score-draw against Oldham Athletic into the game against Leyton Orient on Tuesday evening.
The U's were held to a 1-1 draw by the Latics at the JobServe Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon, after Noah Chilvers helped his side back into the game with a deflected effort that found the back of the net.
And an improved second half performance from Wayne Brown's side should give them confidence that they can do the business against the O's on Tuesday evening - that's according to the Interim Head Coach.
"It was evident that we have the quality to hurt teams, as we did in the second half on Saturday afternoon. We asked for a little bit more composure and intelligence with our play, and from then, there was only one team that was going to go on and win the game.
"It could have and should have been three points, but we haven't lost the the game and that's as important.
"We've still got thirteen games to go, and thirty-nine points to play for. We need to keep the lads mentally in a good place going into games with belief and confidence, because we've definitely got the ability to win games of football and open teams up.
"But every games important, and we can only take one game at a time. We aren't looking any further than Tuesday. We are going to wrap the lads up and prepare them for the game on Tuesday the best that we can and give ourselves the best chance of winning the game."
