Colchester United are pleased to announce that Wayne Brown is the new Head Coach, and will be assisted by Dave Huzzey and Joe Dunne.
The trio were brought in on an interim basis in the middle of January, and guided the U's to a mid-table finish in League Two.
That success has led to this permanent appointment for them, and Wayne told Col U TV he was pleased to be taking the next step.
He said: "It was a few months ago now that we were asked to come in on an interim basis, I really enjoyed it and it has been a real positive period over the months we've had."
"I feel honoured and privileged to have been given the role on a permanent basis like this."
Wayne will be assisted by Dave Huzzey and Joe Dunne, people he thinks share his ambitions and thoughts on how the club can improve and succeed.
He continued: "I think it's important that you surround yourself with people that want to achieve what you want to as an individual."
"They've got the work ethic and work ethos that I've got and it's important that you get the balance right.
"Someone that wants to come in and work hard for me and the football club, but ultimately we want to get success together and be singing off the same hymn sheet.
"Both Dave and Joe bring different strengths to this managerial team, which again has worked really well in the twenty two games we've had so far."
