U23s Host Posh

Young U's side end season at JCS

3 May 2022

Colchester United's U23s will finish their season at home against Peterborough on Tuesday night.

Richard Hall and Liam Bailey will be hoping to finish on a high, and build on their last performance.

On Friday, they beat Championship side Millwall 3-2, having been reduced to ten men early  into the second half.

All the key action came in that second period, with Jake Hutchinson opening the scoring before Millwall levelled and Frankie Terry received his red card - all this happened in the first six minutes after the break.

Millwall then took the lead, before Samson Tovide and Hutchinson turned it around again to give the U's the victory.

Tuesday night's game will be the last chance to see the young U23s in action this season, with the game kicking off at 7pm at the JobServe Community Stadium.

Tickets can be purchased online HERE, but will also be available from the Ticket Machines in the Club Shop.

Season Ticket Holders and Multi-Match Permit Holders are free - you will need to buy a ticket to the game, and then receive a discount so as to make a ticket in their basket free of charge, as long as the ticket is of the same type as their permit.
