Robbie Reveals Ticket Plans

19 May 2022

Colchester United supporters will return to picking their individual seats for the 2022/23 season.

The news was revealed exclusively on BBC Essex, with Chairman Robbie Cowling speaking about it to Glenn Pennyfather.

As Robbie mentioned, a new ticketing system is being built, having used a heavily adapted one for the COVID-19 restricted seasons.

A payment plan will also be available, with fans able to pay in instalments for their season ticket, or part season ticket.

There will also be an option to go online and amend your match ticket bookings in various ways, including changing the ticket category should initial atttendees not be able to come to a specific game.

In terms of the matchday experience, Robbie announced that the Legends Bar will also be back, with the big screen for early matches on Sky Sports in the Fanzone.

In answer to three further questions from supporters phoning in on Thursday evening, Robbie revealed the following:

Privilege Points can be used to purchase cup tickets, plans are in place to install a Loyal Supporters wall for the fans who bought all the games on iFollow - and that the seats at the stadium will be cleaned ahead of the new season.

Further details on these matters will be announced in due course.
