On Wednesday 30th November, Colchester United will host CHAPS Prostate Cancer screening event for men aged between 40-80 years.
CHAPS are a charity who promotes and advocates for Men’s Health, with a particular focus around Prostate Cancer.
As a part of their national cancer screening efforts, CHAPS are using the JobServe Community Stadium to offer 40-80 year olds a prostate cancer screening service.
Prostate cancer is the most common Cancer and the second most common male cancer killer at over 12,000 men every year. Screening with the simple blood test PSA before any symptoms develop leads to early detection of Prostate Cancer.
The CHAPS event takes place between 2 and 6pm on Wednesday 30th November 2022, with CHAPS asking for a minimum donation of £25.
The event is appointment only with no walk ins, free NHS Health Checks will also be available to those eligible.
