Match officials for trip to Crewe confirmed

Thomas Parsons is the man in the middle for our trip up to Crewe on Saturday, this season he has been in charge of eleven games and has handed out a total on fifty-three yellow cards and three red cards.

The referee has taken control of games in League One, League Two, the Carabao Cup, the Papa Johns Trophy and most recently he was in charge of Grimsby’s FA Cup win over Plymouth Argyle.

Last season Parsons took charge of sixteen matches, fifteen of those were in the National League and the other was in the FA Cup. In that time, he handed out fifty-five yellow cards and four red cards.

Assistant – Michael Webb

So far this season, Webb has only been the assistant once. He was running the line in a Premier League Two Division One game.

Last season he was the assistant for twenty-four matches in an array of competitions. Webb covered the League Two Play-Offs, games in League One and League Two and some matches in the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.  

Assistant – Hristo Karaivanov

Karaivanov has been the assistant for seventeen games this season, in competitions including League One, League Two, the Papa Johns Trophy, Carabao Cup and the FA Cup. Last season he also covered games in all five of these competitions, as well as this, he also covered the League Two Play-Offs.

Karaivanov was also involved in some international games last season, he covered at least one game in both the U19 friendlies and the U20 Friendlies during 2021.

Fourth Official – Andy Haines

Andy Haines was the man in the middle for our game against Swindon last month, this time he’s taking a different role as the fourth official.

So far this season Haines has been the fourth official eight times, he has been involved in four competitions, these include the Championship, League One, League Two and the Carabao Cup.

Last season he was the fourth official nineteen times, all of which were in league competitions, the Championship, League One and League Two.
