Young midfielder Jayden Fevrier has put pen-to-paper on a deal with Colchester United that will run until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The nineteen-year old, former West Ham United player has joined up with the U’s following a successful trial period at the start of the current season that has seen him involved in plenty of action for the U21 side.
A left-sided player, Jayden has made appearances in the Papa Johns Trophy, U18 Premier League and Premier League 2 over the last few seasons, and will now continue his progression with Colchester United.
After signing his new deal, Jayden said he was happy to get it over the line, and looking forward to getting down to work.
“I left West Ham in the summer, looking for a new challenge and a new opportunity, and the move to Colchester arose with Dmitri (Halajko, Sporting Director) being my old coach. It was a no-brainer to come here.
“I’ll be looking to be exciting on the ball, looking to score and get assists, and hopefully impact the team in a positive way. I’m still adapting to the level, but I’m enjoying playing my football, and it’s a really good squad and good coaches.”
Join us in welcoming Jayden to the club, everyone at Colchester United wishes him the best of luck with his time in North Essex.
