Here at Colchester United Football in the Community we are looking for exceptional individuals who have gone above and beyond to help their family, friends or community.
August’s Community Champion was Paul Nicholls, he was chosen due to his amazing work that he does to raise awareness for Parkinson’s disease.
Paul shared; “I really appreciate being the Community Champion for August, thanks so much for this opportunity to attend a Col U game as a guest and to share the work I do around rasing the awareness for Parkinson’s disease.”
September’s Community Champion will be invited along with a guest to attend Colchester United’s League Two game vs Harrogate Town on Saturday 8th October at the JobServe Community Stadium. The community champion will be announced on the pitch prior to kick off, to give them a once in a lifetime experience.
