Sam Allison is the man in the middle for the final group game of the Papa Johns Trophy.
So far this season Allison has been the referee in seven games, his last match being a 1-1 draw between Stockport and Swindon, in the games he’s covered this season he’s handed out twenty-two yellow cards and three red cards.
Last season he was in charge of thirty-one games, handing out 126 yellow cards and seven red cards. He mainly does his work in League One and Two, also refereeing the three domestic trophies in England.
Assistant – Joseph Stokes
Stokes has been the assistant twice this season, his most recent encounter as an assistant was Mansfield’s 5-2 victory over AFC Wimbledon. More recently he was the fourth official in the U’s win against Brighton and Hove Albion’s under 21s.
Assistant – Leigh Crowhurst
Crowhurst has been the assistant seven times this season, including the U’s win against Ipswich Town in round one of the Carabao Cup. The most recent game where he was an assistant was Stevenage’s 1-0 win over Harrogate in late September.
Fourth Official – Alan Dale
Dale has been the fourth official twice this season, one of which being a game in League Two between Crawley Town and Northampton near the start of the season, and Gillingham’s win over Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup.
Last season he was the fourth official at the JobServe for our game against Northampton in the League.
