Luke Hannant has urged fans to use their voices to be the twelfth man on Saturday’s game against high-flying Stevenage.
Hannant looked back at the positives to take from our draw against Crawley and how to improve in future games. Looking ahead to Saturday it’s clear that the fans played a huge impact on the lads and to have that again would be very helpful.
“It was a good point the other night, I think in our position we have to be grateful for every point we can get at the moment, and the performance as well, there’s plenty of positives to take out of that performance as well. I haven’t checked the stats but we had so many corners and attacking threats going into their box, it was just unfortunate that we weren’t able to keep the goals out at the other end of the pitch, which is something that we’re working on as well, trying to be the better side in both boxes and then we’re going to win matches, especially with the chances that we’re creating, there’s no reason as to why we won’t be able to that.
“Obviously, we’ve got a big game on Saturday against Stevenage, who we know are doing really well, which will be another tough test for us, but another home game to hopefully put a show on for the crowd get them behind us again.
“I think especially in the second half as we had so many consecutive corners in a row, I could definitely hear the fans behind the goal and throughout the stadium, really, and we appreciate that because without them we wouldn’t have got back into the game. And again Saturday, we’re looking to cause another upset on Saturday against Stevenage and if the fans can get behind us and keep believing in us then we would really appreciate that.”
