Carl Boyeson is the man in the middle for our match up against Walsall.
So far this season Boyeson has been in charge of two matches this season, one of them being in the Papa Johns Trophy and the other being in League Two, he’s handed out four yellow cards and zero red cards.
Last season Boyeson took charge of twenty-five games, he did his work in League Two, League One, the FA Cup and the Papa Johns Trophy where he handed out ninety-five yellow cards and five reds.
Assistant - Daniel Flynn
This will be Flynn’s fourth season as an assistant referee with his first season being in the Premier League 2. This season he’s already been involved in five matches, three in League One, and one in the Papa Johns Trophy and Carabao Cup.
This will be the first match Flynn covers in League Two this campaign but he is not unfamiliar with the league, having been an assistant eleven times in this competition last season and was also involved in the League Two Playoffs.
Assistant – Blake Antrobus
Antrobus has been an assistant referee forty-five times in his career, this is his first season in the EFL and has been involved in eight games of this campaign. One in League One, five in League Two and then a game in the Carabao Cup and the Papa Johns Trophy.
In previous seasons he’s done most of his work in the National League and the Premier League 2.
Fourth Official - Christopher Ward
Ward has been the fourth official fourteen times since the start of last season one of those was the U’s 3-1 victory away at Scunthorpe last season.
He mainly does his work in League One and League Two, while also covering matches in the Papa Johns Trophy, Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
