Come along to the first ever Colchester Community Celebration on Bank Holiday Monday 28th August between 10am-4pm.
On bank holiday Monday 28th August, Colchester United Community Foundation are working in partnership with the British Red Cross to run the first ever Colchester Community Celebration. The event aims to attract thousands of local residents of all ages and interests to come down to Shrub End Community and Sports Centre (CO2 9BG). At the event, there will be a whole range of local exhibitions, stalls and inflatables. There is also a Future U’s festival taking place, which will see local U6&7 grassroots teams take part in a football tournament.
The family fun day will be open between 10am-4pm. However, the first hour (10am-11am) is a quiet hour. Therefore, we advise you to start arriving from 11am. The event is free to enter.

There will be a main stage at the event with different live entertainment acts on throughout the day, some of the acts confirmed are: a magician, Star Wars characters and an animal/insect demonstration.
Can I park at Shrub End?
Yes, there is parking available for a donation. However, spaces are limited so we would advise you to get public transport or walk if you are able to. There is also free street parking around the facility.

Yes, there will be food and drink available to purchase.
