James Durkin will oversee Colchester United’s Sky Bet League Two clash against Crawley Town on Saturday 9th December at the JobServe Community Stadium (KO 3pm).
He will be assisted by Joe Simpson, Marc Wilson and Scott Tallis.
It will be Durkin’s first time officiating a League Two match. For the last five seasons, the referee mostly took charge of National League games with occasional stints in the FA Cup, Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy.
In the 2023-24 campaign so far, he has officiated eleven games, issuing fifty-seven yellow cards and five reds.
