Colchester United will be hoping to make it into the last four of the BBC Essex Senior Cup against Braintree Town on Tuesday evening.
Dave Huzzey’s side take on the National League South team at the JobServe Community Stadium on 7th February (7:45pm KO), looking to book their spot in the semi-finals of the Essex-wide competition.
The young U’s have progressed through to the last eight with wins over Dagenham and Redbridge on penalties, following it up with an impressive 10-0 win over Saffron Walden in the last round.
And after Southend United pulled out of the competition, Braintree Town were confirmed as the U’s opponents.

U’s fans will be situated in the southern section of the West Stand (Blocks 1-4), with Braintree supports in the northern section (Blocks 6-9).
