Colchester United have signed Matt Jay from Exeter City.
The twenty six year old forward has penned a two and a half year contract, subject of course to the usual approvals.
He is the fifith new signing for the U's in the January transfer window, and will train with the U's squad for the first time on Tuesday morning.
Spending all his football career at Exeter City so far, Matt scored sixty two goals in less than 150 starts and made 206 total appearances.
He led the Grecians to promotion last season, and was named in the League Two Team of the Season.
Like the U's previous four new signings for the U's in this current transfer window, Matt will be looking for involvement in Saturday's League Two encounter at Rochdale.
Matt will be taking squad number 20.
