Tom Eastman has joined Harrogate Town on loan.
The thirty one year old heads north for the rest of the season, and is expected to be in the Harrogate squad on Saturday, subject to the usual ratification from the relevent bodies.
Eastman made nineteen appearances in the first half of the current campaign for the Us, but has found it challenging to maintain his place in the U's matchday squads since the middle of December.
A loan deal was agreed by all three parties earlier in the week, and the Colchester born centre half travelled up to North Yorkshire to train with his Sulphurites teammates for the first time on Thursday.
