Colchester United have signed Will Greenidge from West Ham United.
The twenty year old has penned a two and a half year contract at the JobServe Community Stadium, and is expected to go into the squad for Saturday's game at Hartlepool.
Whilst his preferred position is right back, he is equally happy in any of the defensive positions.
He has played regularly for the Hammers' U21s side this season, including all three of their Papa John's Trophy games.
