Colchester United have taken Mauro Bandeira on loan from Arsenal.
The nineteen year old has signed a season long loan deal, keeping him in north Essex until next summer, subject to the usual ratifications.
He was part of the Queens Park Rangers Academy as a youngster, before Arsenal took him up to North London at the age of thirteen.
Having come through the Arsenal ranks, he signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2022 with the Gunners.
The Portugese midfielder will train with his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday afternoon, ahead of the evening game against Stevenage, (to be played at St Neot's FC).
