Colchester United Community Foundation have opened the nominations for February’s community champion.
Do you know somebody who you feel deserves recognition for what they do within the community? As here at Colchester United Community Foundation we are looking for exceptional individuals who have gone above and beyond to help their family, friends or community. For example, our November community champion Nick Wookey, who raised over £50,000 for Farleigh Hospice.
The community champion will be invited to attend with a guest for Colchester United’s game vs Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 25th March at the JobServe Community Stadium. The community champion will be awarded a prize and then asked to lead the teams out onto the pitch, to give them a once in a lifetime experience.
