Frank Nouble and Colchester United have parted company.
Frank's contract, which was due to end this summer, has been cancelled by mutual consent.
The experienced forward first joined the U's back in the summer of 2018, and was almost ever-present as the U's finished eighth and sixth, (losing to Exeter City in the Play-Off Semi-Final) in League Two.
He signed for Plymouth in the summer of 2020, but returned to north Essex on loan in the January 2021 transfer window, appearing twenty more times from then until the end of the 2020/21 season.
The expected permanent move came in the summer of 2021, and fifty more appearances were added to his Col U total before this week's departure.
Colchester United thank Frank for his time with the club over the three spells and wish him the best of luck in the future.
You can watch Frank talk about his departure on both Col U TV and Facebook later on Friday afternoon.
