Tommy Smith has been included in New Zealand’s next international games at the end of the month.
The U’s Skipper is in contention to earn his fiftieth cap for the All Whites as they take on China in a two-match series at the end of March.
The games are due to take place in Aukland (Mt Smart Staidium) and Wellington (Sky Stadium) respectively, with Smith set to be missing from the U’s home match against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday 26th.
Should Tommy play, he will move inside the top twenty for appearances with his nation after already appearing for the All Whites at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
