Colchester United U21s will be back in action this evening (7:00pm KO), hosting Crewe Alexandra at the JobServe Community Stadium in the Professional Development League.
Dave Huzzey’s side will be aiming to get back to winning ways after narrowly losing out to QPR and Swansea City in their last two matches.
A win would close the gap to eighth placed Ipswich Town to just a single point, while Crewe (who play in the northern section) aim to get closer to the top four with victory.
This evening’s match at the JobServe Community Stadium will also provide Ben Garner a chance to take a look at players who hadn’t been able to feature in his plans after arriving as Head Coach so far.
