Community Foundation and Colchester United to highlight some examples of the great work the club does on a daily basis within our communities.
From November 6th - November 12th, Colchester United and the Club’s Community Foundation will be celebrating the EFL Week of Action!
Alongside all other 71 EFL Clubs and their respective Club Community Organisations, Colchester United and Colchester United Community Foundation (CUCF) will be celebrating the impact of the incredible work that takes place within our local communities. Over the week the impact of a variety of community programmes will be shared, alongside how the Colchester United squad engages with participants and staff throughout the season.
CUCF operate across North Essex, delivering programmes with education, health & inclusion and participation programmes engaging with up to 9,500 participants each week!
To celebrate the EFL Week of Action, we will be highlighting some of the impact of our work across the week, from Monday to Friday.
Check out community and club social media channels today, where Club Captain Connor Hall introduces the EFL Week of Action, telling us what ‘Community’ means to him and the Colchester United squad and the impact the Community Foundation and the club has on people’s lives daily.
Keep an eye out on our social media platforms and website throughout the week to see some examples of how our local football club positively impacts the lives of people within our local community!
