Colchester United have signed Yassine En-Neyah, who will head straight out on loan to Maldon & Tiptree.
The twenty three year old put pen to paper on a year's contract with the U's on Thursday evening, and is expected to make his debut for the Jammers this weekend.
They travel to Biggleswade in the First Qualifying Round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
En-Neyah was at Truro City last season, making fourteen appearances after signing in February.
Before then, he spent time at Shelbourne and Waterford in the League of Ireland after being released from Nottingham Forest at the end of the 2020/21 season.
