Frankie Terry has signed a loan deal at Aveley FC.
The deal will see Frankie stay in south Essex for the next month, subject to the paperwork being approved by the relevant bodies.
The National League South side take a break from their league programme tomorrow, and the U's defender has been given permission to play in their Isuzu FA Trophy game at Bromley.
In the league, Aveley will be hoping to break into the Play-Off positions over the next few weeks - they currently sit one place and one point behind seventh place Bath City.
Terry has played for the U's first team this season in both the FA Cup and the Bristol Street Motors Trophy, and will be hoping for plenty of game time in the next few weeks.
Everyone at Colchester United wishes Frankie the best of luck at Aveley.
